Trapped stress & trauma
In life we all experience stress and trauma - this could be a specific event or over time.
If the body struggles to process the stress & trauma it protects itself by tensing up.
Self healing
Self healing is the body's ability to heal itself.
An example is when the skin is superficially cut, the body naturally knows how to repair the skin without assistance.
Self healing blockages
When stress & trauma locks into [general or specific areas of] the body, muscles tense up preventing a natural flow of nerve activity and blood flow which results in a self healing blockage.
Cause of pain
Uncomfortable sensations (ie. pain) are a signal that the body needs attention. Understanding pain instead of masking it can support your self healing process. Pain itself is not the problem, but a symptom of the root issue (which can be locked in stress).
Releasing stress
Through the body's accurate biofeedback mechanism the facilitator can locate & release these blockages through a very gentle, non-invasive technique while holding a caring space.
The body never lies.
The process
The body is then supported in a process of releasing the stress and self healing is initiated.
This process varies from person to person depending on age and the severity of the stress factor.
